Terms and Conditions Relating to Travel
Definitions
‘Chauffeur’ shall mean the driver of the Vehicle
‘The Company’ shall mean Chameleon Luxury Chauffeur Services
‘Employee’ shall have the meaning of any employee of the Company, including any
driver employed by the Company
‘Client’ shall be deemed to be the person who has organized the Hire and is responsible
for the payment of the Hire
‘Booking’ shall mean a period for which the Client has committed to the Hire
‘Vehicle’ shall mean any car supplied by the Company to the Client
‘Hire’ shall mean the contract for the Hire of a Vehicle
Luggage
Chameleon Luxury Chauffeur Services will undertake to transport a reasonable amount
of luggage. If however, in the judgement of the chauffeur, the volume of weight
is excessive, the company reserves the right to refuse the carriage of the said
luggage.
Alterations
Minor itinerary adjustments are free of charge. The company at its own discretion
will determine the nature of any adjustments and alter the charges accordingly.
Hire Price
We guarantee the cost of vehicle hire providing that the original itinerary at the
time of booking has not been altered.
Our obligations to you:
- We shall supply all the services specified in the Confirmation of Booking sent to
you.
- We accept responsibility for our employees' actions while on duty.
Insurance
We are insured for passenger travel. This insurance is for public liability and
does not constitute travel insurance.
We do not accept responsibility for
- Delays caused by adverse weather conditions
- Any delays caused by strike action. Acts of god or conflict or war or Force Majeure.
Traffic jams, breakdowns and flight delays.
- Any theft or damage to properties of the signatory of the contract or any other
person travelling within the contract, except where such theft or damage is caused
by a direct action of Chameleon Luxury Chauffeur Services employees
- Missed flights due to insufficient travelling time being allowed by client
Disorderly Behavior
We reserve the right to refuse travel to anyone deemed to be a nuisance or danger
to our passengers or employees. We may seek the help of the police to remove any
offenders from our vehicles and will not pay compensation or refund in such circumstances.
Damage to vehicle
Chameleon Luxury Chauffeur Services will hold any client or clients responsible
if they cause damage or soil the vehicle. Such clients will be responsible for the
cost to repair/valet the vehicle. Should the action result in lost bookings then
the client shall also be liable.
Music
Playing musical instruments in our vehicles is at the driver's discretion - you
must seek his/her permission prior to commencing the journey.
Illegal material
The carrying or use of unregistered weapons, or any illegal drugs in our vehicles
is totally forbidden. You must inform us about any registered weapon you wish to
carry with you at the time of booking.
Smoking & Eating
We observe a non-smoking policy and request passengers also refrain from eating
whilst in all our vehicles.
Complaints
In the unlikely event you are unhappy with the service, you should, in the first
instance, pass your concerns immediately to the driver who will try to rectify the
issue.
If the matter hasn't been resolved to your satisfaction, please contact us as soon
as possible
Use of Vehicles
Chameleon Luxury Chauffeur Services make every effort to supply top quality vehicles.
However, should such vehicles be unavailable, we reserve the right to provide an
alternative vehicle - this hire shall be known as sub-contract or sub-hire.
Cancellation
Cancellation with less than 24 hours notice will result in full charges being payable.
Flight delays
Where a client arranges collection subject to a scheduled flight/train/ship arrival
then a waiting time of 45 minutes is factored into the charge.
Late Payments
An additional 10% admin fee will be charged for late payments made after 30 days.
The making of a booking will be deemed as acceptance of these Terms & Conditions
